ALL BOOKINGS
The Tamborine reserves the right to impose minimum night’s stay requirements at any time.
Guests must be 18 years or older to book a room. Parents booking separate rooms for family must ensure an adult occupies a room with children under the age of 18 years. Please contact Hotel Management to ensure rooms are side by side at the time of booking.
The Tamborine reserves the right to decline any booking request.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Bookings are fully refundable up to 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations after this time will incur a 100% charge of the booking value. Non-refundable bookings are subject to full pre-payment at the time of booking.
BOOKING PAYMENT
Card details are taken upon booking to guarantee your reservation. Full pre-payment of your booking will be taken 14 days prior to arrival using the card you provided at booking.
CREDIT CARD SURCHARGE
Payments made by Visa, Mastercard or Debit card will incur a 1.5% surcharge. AMEX will incur a 3.5% surcharge.
WE ARE CASHLESS
The Tamborine is a cashless property, and payments will need to be made via card.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check in time is 2pm
Check out time is 10am
NUMBER OF GUESTS
A maximum number of 2 guests are permitted in each guest room. The names of room occupants must be disclosed prior to check-in, and any changes to your guest list must be communicated with the Hotel Manager. Please note that rooms cannot accommodate rollaway beds or cots.
Guests are not permitted to invite people to the property who are not guests of the Hotel.
USE OF ACCOMMODATION AND GUEST BEHAVIOUR
No accommodation may be used for functions, parties or events, and all bookings are for personal use only and are non-transferable.
Guests shall conduct themselves and use the accommodation in a proper, orderly and lawful manner, Guests shall not permit any act, matter or thing which may injure the reputation of The Tamborine or cause loss or damage to any person or property connected to the Hotel.
Inappropriate behaviour, or disturbance to other Hotel guests and neighbours through loud music, noise, or otherwise, is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
We reserve the right to remove a person/s without liability if behaviour is not considered appropriate.
The use of outdoor areas is not permitted between 10pm – 7am daily unless otherwise agreed by Hotel Management.
DAMAGES
Guests are responsible for any damage to the premises and/or loss or damage to any item on the premises. Any accidental damage or breakages should be reported directly to Hotel Management as soon as possible. Management reserves the right to withhold the cost of repairs or replacements from a guest’s nominated credit card, and also reserves the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused by any member of the booking party.
Whilst all care will be taken, Management accepts no responsibility for personal property left on the Hotel premises. Items removed from the Hotel premises or guest rooms will be charged to your nominated credit card, including but not limited to, robes, slippers, towels and bathroom amenities.
OUTSTANDING AMOUNTS
The Tamborine will use the credit card provided at time of booking to process any outstanding amounts following a guest’s departure. Credit card verification and a pre-authorisation amount of $200 will be required by each room to guarantee any incidental charges.
SWIMMING POOL POLICY
The Pool Deck is open for guests between 7am – 7pm daily. The use of the pool requires adherence to a number of policies which are stated on signage at entrances to the Pool Deck area.
CHILDREN
Children under the age of 18 are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
PETS
No pets are permitted at The Tamborine.
SMOKING/VAPING
The Tamborine is a non-smoking venue, and smoking inside the Guestrooms, or anywhere on the property, is strictly prohibited. If there is evidence of smoking at the Hotel, you will be charged an additional $500 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.
LOST KEYS
A charge of $50 will be charged to your credit card for keys that have been lost to cover the expense of replacement keys.
AFTER HOURS CALL OUT FEES
If Management or Security are required to visit the Hotel outside of Reception Hours- for lost keys, noise disturbances, or for any other reason- a $100 call-out fee will be charged to the Guest’s credit card.
CHANGES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Refunds cannot be given for events out of control of the property owner. Events include, but are not limited to, sale of the property, weather damage, power blackouts, landslides, insect infestation, floods, plane cancellations, demonstrations, civil unrest and any other circumstance amounting to force majeure and/or Acts of God.
The Tamborine is in a suburban location where from time to time, there may be building/construction within the vicinity of The Hotel. The Tamborine takes no responsibility for any issues relating to noise on neighbouring properties.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your credit card details will only be used to pay for amounts relating to your booking as directed by you in this Agreement. This information will never be supplied to a third party by us and will not be used for any other purpose.
